When OoO Agent Enabled in DWA, 'Welcome Back' message is not returned when expected

Technote Number: 1175503

Problem:
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# NBRR632SUZ, and has
been addressed in Domino Web Access (DWA) 6.5.4.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 6.5.4 MR fix list (available at
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/):

Calendar
SPR# NBRR632SUZ - Added a timestamp to "date" fields.

This issue is caused because the dateFirstDayBack field in the Out of Office
profile is not being populated with a time stamp when enabled over the web
interface. This field is populated correctly when the Out of Office agent is
enabled through the Notes Client, but not the iNotes web interface on release
6.5.1 and higher.

Steps to reproduce issue:

1. Register an iNotes 6 user on a Domino 6.5.1 or higher server.
2. Access the mail file in DWA. Select the Mail tab, then select Tools > Out
of Office. Enable the Out of Office agent for the shortest interval possible,
one day. Then save and close.
3. Check that the agent has been enabled. To do so view the out of office
agent settings in DWA. If the agent is waiting to be enabled on the server run
the command "tell adminp process all" on the server until the agent is enabled
on the server (once is usually sufficient).
4. Using NotesPeek, open the mail database, expand the Profile Documents
section, and select "outofofficeprofile". Select the dateFirstDayBack field.
Notice that only the date is set in the profile document, in the form:

<07/01/2004>

5. Run the agent overnight and you will see that the welcome back message is
returned the last time the agent runs on the day the user returns at 10:00 PM.
(You can accelerate this process by issuing a "tell amgr sched" command to see
when the agent is set to run next, changing the time on your test server to
that date, then restarting the Domino server so that the time will be picked
up.)
6. Repeat the above steps for a release 6.5. server. You will see that the
dataFirstDayBack field is set to <07/01/2004 12:00:00 AM>. The welcome back
message is generated the first time the agent runs that day, which is 4:00 AM.
